Frequently asked questions
How do I restore Writa Pro on a new device?
Open Writa, go to Settings → Writa Pro and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used to subscribe.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from. iPhone and iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Writa Pro. Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Writa Pro. In Writa, Settings → Writa Pro → Manage opens the same page. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by the store. For the App Store, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, see Google Play's refund help.
How does iCloud sync work?
On iPhone and iPad, turn on Settings → iCloud → Sync library with iCloud. Use the same Apple ID on each device, with iCloud Drive turned on. If the same sheet is edited on two devices before they sync, Writa keeps both versions: the newer one stays, and the other is saved as a separate sheet marked “Conflicted copy”, so nothing is lost.
How do I export a PDF, Word file or ePub?
Open a sheet and tap the share icon at the top. Choose a format and style, preview it, then save, share or print. To export a whole group, open the group's menu and choose Export Group.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Where the law requires it (for example in the EU, UK and Switzerland), go to Settings → Privacy → Ad Privacy Choices to review or withdraw consent. Writa Pro removes ads entirely.
How do I switch to the Pro app icon?
With Writa Pro on iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → Writa Pro → App Icon and choose Classic or Pro.
How do I delete my data?
Your library lives on your device, so deleting Writa removes it from that device. To remove the synced copy, delete Writa's data in Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage on iPhone or iPad. We don't hold any copy of your writing, so there's nothing to delete on our side.
